Survey rebuilding and reporting for Global Health Connections

I returned to rebuild surveys I originally created in 2021, adding requested enhancements in REDCap and preparing Power BI for internal analysis.

The context

During my 2021 Data Analyst internship, I built Qualtrics surveys for community-health data collection. I also contributed data cleaning, anomaly detection, and survey and geospatial visualizations. In July and August 2024, I returned as a volunteer to clean and transform survey datasets in Python.

The 2026 rebuild

In September 2026, I returned to Global Health Connections as a volunteer to rebuild the surveys in REDCap. This included requested enhancements, which I worked through using iterative, Agile delivery. My work covered rebuilding the survey instruments and incorporating the updated requirements.

From responses to analysis

Survey responses could be exported to Excel from both tools. I cleaned the survey data, configured Power BI and handed the reporting setup over for internal analysis supporting research papers on survey trends and results. This connected the survey collection work with the preparation needed to use its data.

The outcome

Rebuilt REDCap surveys with requested enhancements, cleaned survey data and a Power BI handover for internal analysis. This project shows continuity across several engagements, as well as my ability to contribute to both a data-collection system and its analytical workflow.
