Pricing calculator for Sales and Finance
I independently built a Power Apps calculator within two weeks and handed operation and maintenance to Sales.
The problem
Sales and Finance needed quick pricing calculations using business-managed pricing inputs. The work called for a focused internal tool that could move beyond an initial proof of concept and be operated by the business.
My role and delivery
I built the calculator myself using Power Apps, SharePoint lists and custom formulas. SharePoint held the pricing inputs; Power Apps provided the custom calculations. I completed the build within two weeks, then handed the tool to Sales for operation and maintenance.
Why the handover mattered
The handover was part of the delivery, not just a demonstration of the application. Sales became responsible for operating and maintaining the tool, with business-managed pricing inputs supporting that arrangement. This is an example of my hands-on implementation work alongside my broader Product Owner responsibilities.
The outcome
A working internal pricing calculator for Sales and Finance, built within two weeks and handed over to Sales. The project shows my ability to translate a business need into a bounded technical solution and carry it through to operational ownership.
